Product Description

On August 18, 1920, the 19th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution was ratified, prohibiting the denial of any citizen the right to vote based on sex. The legislation was in part due to the leadership and lobbying efforts of suffragist Alice Paul (Jan. 11, 1885 – July 9, 1977). For the rest of her life, Ms. Paul campaigned for the equality of women throughout the world, including fighting to include gender equality in the charter of the United Nations.

The hat is worked flat then seamed together with the shirred panel. The visor is worked separately, seamed, then attached to the hat body. Instructions for several different accessories will allow you to personalize and change the the look of your hat.
